and CAPPADONNA. With several platinum albums between them and their

REDMAN
A charismatic MC with an uncanny knack for hilarious punchlines, a
platinum-selling artist, and now a film and TV star, Reggie Noble,
aka Redman, has been delivering hardcore East Coast Hip Hop since
the early ‘90s. His solo work and collaborations keep coming,
fresh as ever, proving this is one artist who loves his work; and
his devoted fans show that love like that is hard to resist. Riding
contagious beats and bass-heavy production, Redman tirelessly rocks
the crowd, building a frenzy and creating a real high as he inspires,
encourages and celebrates the raw and wild both in himself and his
audience.

DILATED
PEOPLES
Pioneers of Los Angeles’ underground rap scene, Rakaa, Evidence
and DJ Babu have consistently delivered exciting, socially aware Hip
Hop. The group not only engages your mind with their lyrics, but your
soul with their beats. 2004 saw Dilated Peoples break out of the underground
with their radio hit “This Way” off their third album
Neighborhood Watch. Their live performances are explosive - from the
delivery of their lyrics to Babu's cutting - their dialogue with the
crowd is palpable. Their latest album 20/20 hit stores in February
2006 and promises to be fully entrenched in their 12 " roots.

SAGE
FRANCIS
Sage Francis has been a fiercely independent stalwart in the underground
Hip Hop scene for years; and after gaining a cult fan base excited
by his provocative, charged body of work, Sage became Epitaph's first
hip-hop signing in 2004. The LA Weekly reports, “Notorious for
bootlegging his own CDs and selling them on his sold out “Fuck
Clear Channel” tour, Sage has justly earned a cult following
– not just for doing it without the help of Dr. Dre and MTV,
but also for staying genuinely hardcore."

CHALI
2NA + DJ NU MARK (JURASSIC 5)
MC Chali 2NA and DJ Nu Mark hail from the critically acclaimed Los
Angeles based Jurassic5 (also MCs Zaakir (Soup), Akil, Marc7 and DJ
Cut Chemist). The groups draws it’s roots from LA's vibrant
underground Hip Hop movement that grew up around the Good Life Café,
where they honed their skills and undoubtedly perfected their live
performance, evident in their immediate and visceral connection with
audiences even tens of thousands deep. Chali 2na is a force to be
reckoned with on the mic with his resonant and expressive voice (both
in tenor and lyrically), and DJ NuMark has that elusive ability to
create and choose beats that are at once fresh and timeless.

EYEDEA
+ ABILITIES
MC Eyedea and DJ Abilities have taken the onstage interaction between
MC and DJ to new levels. Blaze Battle champion Eyedea's performance
is not just lyrical expression, but a full-on physical workout. Abilities,
a two-time regional DMC champion, approaches the turntable as an instrument
with still vastly unexplored possibility; and if anyone's going to
push the limits of that possibility with fearlessness, it's DJ Abilities.
Together, the duo are an exciting premonition of future possibilities
for the ever-expanding Hip Hop genre.

MC
SUPERNATURAL + HAJ
Freestyle Champion, arguably the best in the game, MC Supernatural
boasts he "can rock about anything." And he makes good on
that promise time and time again when he dares the crowd to hold up
ANYTHING and incorporates those things into a fluid, flawless, unrehearsed
freestyle. Wicked sharp and smart, Supernatural can easily flow about
people, places, things and politics - creating compelling narratives
in the heat of the moment. At Rock The Bells, Supernat brought his
son Haj to the stage where father and son proved the apple does not
fall far from the tree; promising for the next generation of headz
that the great art of freetyling is alive, well and in very good hands.
2005 saw the release of Supernatural's widely anticipated S.P.I.T.
album on Up Above Records.
